What….?

City Sabotage is a platform for storytelling. A satirical and sometimes twisted insight into the complex workings of the human race. CS reflects the world back at us, using humorous characters and photorealism to create a comical, gently provoking, relatable and sometimes unnerving vision of the world we live in

Why….?

To create community
To ask Q’s about what it means to be human
To celebrate our tendencies, impulses, collective fears and emotions
To look at how these factors make us act/react and ultimately realise that we are made up of more similarities than differences

How….?

The Process:

We take the street home and graffiti the F##K out of it!

We hit the streets and shoot moments in time, the amazing, the ridiculous and the outstanding – Like vapour trails in the sky, everywhere we look there are people, or traces of people, with their stories encoded into them. We then use these stories to ask questions. Yes! CS asks us to question what we observe in our daily lives!

Questions:

And it is these questions that can truly bring that moment to life and help it to realise its full potential. By adding characters and details that maybe should have been there or could have been there, or definitely were there in another dimension, we present a subtly reworked exaggeration of normality, in a real world scenario

Normality:

For us the magic lies in the ordinary and this is what we celebrate. The ordinary generally escapes our attention. It’s right under our noses and that’s why it often goes unnoticed

We wish to activate CS through collaboration and community – to collaborate with forward thinking, inspiring and like-minded companies and individuals, with an equivalent value set and vision.
